If you are a California resident applying for a loan valued between $2,500 - $10,000 USD, you’ll have the option to enroll in a free Credit Education Program. After you review and accept the Terms and Conditions for your new loan in the Celsius app, you will see a screen giving you the option to enroll in the Credit Education Program. You are not required to enroll to submit a loan application or get approved for funds, however, it will provide you with valuable information about your status as a borrower in California.
If you choose to enroll in the Credit Education Program, one of our loan managers will send you a detailed virtual document covering the following topics:
- The value of establishing a credit score;
- Ways to establish a credit score;
- Ways to improve a credit score;
- Factors that impact a credit score;
- Ways to check one’s credit score;
- Ways to obtain a free copy of one’s credit report; and,
- Ways to dispute an error in one’s credit report.
After reviewing the information provided in the Credit Education Program, you will need to confirm whether or not you would like to submit your loan application to receive borrowed funds. There are no fees, penalties, or consequences associated with the Credit Education Program, and its purpose is to provide you with supplemental credit information relevant to your location.
Celsius loans do not affect your credit score, and all loans are issued without credit checks.
